Youth for Planetary Health — Fredericksburg, VA

A student-led club at a local high school bringing environmental awareness and public health advocacy to the forefront. Led by President Vildan Soguktas, VP Brianna Quinn, and Social Media Coordinator Aniya Douglas, the club organizes educational events, webinars, and outreach to help students understand how environmental issues directly impact human health.

Their initiatives include a "Sustainable Swap" Earth Day project, planting native pollinator-friendly plants on campus, partnering with elementary schools to teach younger students, and sharing climate career opportunities with members. They also run educational reels, infographics, mini podcasts, and student street interviews on social media.
